What began as a technical solution eventually grew into an industry, a culture and a brand that today inspires professionals and consumers across the globe. This is the story of how a local idea evolved into a global benchmark in hair care.
1987
The origin of an idea that would transform an industry
Enrique Dols is shaking up the market by switching from wooden brushes to aluminum ones. It reduces drying times, improves professional technique and lays the foundations for what would later become Termix Global.
1997
The vision that changed everything
Ten years later, two entrepreneurs with an inquiring eye, Josep Maria Bernat and Joan Carles Márquez, have taken up that legacy and set themselves a challenge: to transform the way the world cares for hair.What was then a young company present in three countries is about to become much more than a brush manufacturer: a brand that will redefine professional hairdressing.The step from a small workshop to an industrial company is taken. A new stage of growth, global vision and professional culture is born.
2000-2010
International expansion and new ranges
Termix is expanding into new international markets, and its portfolio is growing and becoming more technical. The first complete lines of professional brushes and new product categories are consolidated.
In 2008, Carlos Corchero takes over the general management of the company, driving a new stage of growth and a more decisive expansion, especially in Latin America.
2008
Evolution: a before and after
Termix Professional launches Evolution, the first range of professional brushes adapted to every hair type. A milestone that redefines the category and positions Termix Global as a world reference, becoming the first and only company in the world to adapt a brush to the specific needs of each hair fiber.
2019
Termix Nature is born
Termix presents Nature, the world’s first range of brushes capable of purifying the air thanks to the innovative Pure.Tech technology incorporated in the handle.A breakthrough that connects innovation, sustainability and purpose, and reinterprets blow-drying from a more conscious point of view.
2020-2024
Innovation, sustainability and new global vision
Termix promotes recycling, digitalization and industrial responsibility projects.The company’s international presence now exceeds 90 countries and its plant in Spain increases production to more than 9,000 brushes per day, consolidating a global vision guided by quality, design and useful innovation.
